Annie and Angelo’s fall wedding at the Clarks Landing Yacht Club was simply amazing! We had a gorgeous and sunny fall day, and we took beautiful portraits of the entire wedding party on the dock and private beach. Our dreamy portraits and drone footage of the bride and groom at sunset were just incredible! But before we dive into the wedding itself, we’d love to tell you a bit more about this gorgeous venue!

Clarks Landing Yacht Club is just one jewel in the crown of the Clarks Landing Wedding Venues. The Clarks Landing Wedding Venues is a collection of premiere, family-owned and operated venues throughout Central and Southern New Jersey. Founder George Truesdale was inspired to build a spectacular wedding venue after his wife’s remark that they should create a space “worthy of hosting his own daughters.” Taking that comment to heart, George and his children have created a spectacular and functional wedding venue. Clarks Landing Yacht Club is renowned for its unparalleled dockside location, world-class food, and meticulously maintained facilities.
Details of the Grounds
One of the biggest draws of Clarks Landing Yacht Club is the ability to hold a riverside ceremony beneath their stately open-air pergola. You’ll exchange vows with the love of your life against the gorgeous river and marina backdrop. The marina is also the perfect spot for a sunset wedding! If you’re considering a wedding in the cooler months, their Grand Ballroom is another fabulous spot for a ceremony. You’ll enter from the ballroom’s Juliet balcony. As you gracefully approach the altar, the shades on the windows will magically rise, revealing the breathtaking view and sunset over the river for a dramatic entrance that will have your guests swooning.
For cocktail hour, the Riverview Room has the classic elegance and warmth of an Edwardian Reading room. The Riverview Room contains dark wood wainscoting, comfortable sofas, and armchairs. They will greet your party of up to 280 guests with a glass of chilled Champagne, nibbling on passed hors d’oeuvres, and enjoying music from their baby grand player piano.
As cocktail hour concludes, the Clarks Landing staff will escort your guests to the Sunset Ballroom. This ballroom holds elegant crystal chandeliers and panoramic views of the Manasquan River. They’ll enjoy a world-class four-course meal with white glove service. After dinner, everyone can dance the night away on the circular dance floor in the middle of the ballroom.
Leading up to your picture-perfect day, you and your wedding party will have access to the Clarks Landing wedding suite. This suite hosts floor-to-ceiling mirrors, elegant furniture, and a private ensuite restroom. You’ll also have private access to the ballroom and outdoor area, so you can see your beautiful wedding spaces without being seen by guests.
Photography Opportunities
There is no shortage of spectacular photo locations at Clark’s Landing, whether you envision indoor or outdoor portraits. The marina and its docks make for romantic waterfront pictures, especially as the glow of sunset descends in the evening. There is also plenty of surrounding greenery for a more natural aesthetic amongst trees and beachy brush. The elegant ballroom has architectural details that make for unique photos. The wedding suite has plenty of natural light to capture those crucial getting-ready moments.
Wedding Details
When you have your wedding at Clarks Landing, you’ll work with their in-house wedding planner. The planner will ensure every detail is in place and alleviates planning stress for you and your partner. You’ll also have access to their collection of wedding accessories like cake stands, card boxes, toasting flutes, signs, decor, and more. This way, you won’t need to spend extra money on things you’ll only use once.
Clarks Landing has recommended vendors they know and trust, but the only element you must use them for is catering. Their renowned in-house chef will meet with you throughout the planning process to tailor your menu to your unique taste. The chef’s services range from hors d’oeuvres to the four-course plated dinner to your choice of divine desserts.
A Real Clarks Landing Yacht Club Wedding
The Love Story
Annie and Angelo rode the same bus when they were in high school, but the two did not start dating until quite some time later. Their first date was August 26, 2019, where they bonded over pizza and drinks at a local bar! After that date, the rest is history! Angelo proposed to Annie on Christmas Eve in 2020, and we were lucky enough to capture their beautiful wedding day!
Bridal Preparation at Private Family Residence
Annie came prepared with the most thoughtful details for getting ready photos! The watercolor invitation suite was a dusty blue, and we had a blue ribbon to drape; it was hemmed from a bridesmaids’ dress! Brides, this is a genius hack for your bridal detail flatlays! The custom dusty blue “Mrs. Box” is gorgeous, and is perfect for any bride! Annie looked like a classic, beautiful bride, with her pearl earrings, bracelet, and necklace to complete her timeless look!
While getting ready, Annie’s four sisters, closest friends, and parents surrounded her. Annie’s mom wanted to re-create a photo with her daughter from her own wedding, a touching family tribute that we were delighted to snap!
Groom Preparation at Millstone Family Estate
Angelo got ready for his wedding day at his parents’ home in Millstone, NJ. He was surrounded by his parents, brothers, and groomsmen as he got dressed to the nines! Sporting a classic look, Angelo wore a midnight blue tuxedo, classic dress shoes, a bow tie, and Movado watch. To any future grooms reading: hues like midnight blue are perfect for our bright and airy style!
We took some fun shots of Angelo playing pool, and getting into a brand new Corvette! Finally, we took even more gorgeous family portraits outside on the front lawn!
Wedding Ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church in Millstone NJ
Annie and Angelo held their wedding ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church in Millstone, New Jersey. Angelo saw Annie for the first time as she walked down the aisle towards him! The beautiful catholic mass drew tears from nearly all guests. Many family members offered their well wishes to the couple through readings, offerings, and prayers throughout the ceremony.
Husband + Wife Portraits at Point Pleasant Yacht Club
We took bright, beautiful portraits of Annie and Angelo with their families and wedding party on the yacht club’s private beach! I could not have imagined a more perfect setting for this beach loving couple. We took their engagement photos on the beach, too! It felt so natural for all of us, and we had so much fun!
Elegant Clarks Landing Yacht Club Wedding Reception
The Clark’s Landing Yacht Club is stunning! This venue is set up beautifully and every last detail was well thought out. The tall, floral centerpieces surrounded the grand ball room. The Priest presented a certificate from the Pope, offering his best wishes. The ultimate blessing for the most deserving couple! At the reception, the MOH, father of the bride, and Angelo’s two brothers gave moving toasts, gushing over their kindness. As a school teacher and oldest sister of five, Annie was recognized for her compassion. Angelo’s brothers expressed how much they look forward to raising their families together.
