Congratulations Ashley and Josh! You are officially Mr. and Mrs. Anderson! I had the most amazing time capturing your Waterloo Village Wedding. I am so excited to share some of my favorite moments from your wedding day!
Wedding Day at Waterloo Village
Ashley and Josh spent the morning getting ready at the Holiday Inn of Budd Lake. Ashley’s hair and makeup was already looking flawless when I arrived! She had a beautiful hairpiece that was carefully woven into her bun and it looked amazing! She collected all of her details; the invitation suite, her Daisy by Marc Jacobs perfume, gorgeous pear shaped earrings, her shoes, a beautiful necklace in memory of her grandmother, and of course, her dress. After details, we all packed our belongings to head over to the Bridal Cottage at Waterloo Village, where we would take the remainder of the getting ready photos!
Bridal Preparation at Waterloo Village
The Bridal Cottage at Waterloo Village is absolutely beautiful! The outside is light blue in color and the inside has plenty of natural light with neutral furniture and a white wall (neutrals and lots of natural light are a dream come true for me!!).
Waterloo Village First Look
Ashley and Josh had the sweetest first look. They were able to spend some time alone together before all of the typical wedding day hecticness of greeting guests and making sure they had time to eat! Their bridal party was so much fun and I could tell that Ashley and Josh have some amazing friends!
Wedding Day Family Formals
Following bridal party, we were also able to fit in some portrait time with both Ashley and Josh’s families. This was my absolute favorite part of the day and I will tell you why! Remember earlier I mentioned the necklace in memory of Ashley’s grandmother? Well, during portraits with her family, Ashley saw a butterfly and was overcome with joy! She mentioned how much her grandmother loved butterflies and knew this one was sent by her grandmother. Not only did this butterfly land on Ashley’s gown, but she then also landed ON Ashley’s bouquet and landed right next to the necklace! It was one of the most magical moments I have ever experienced and I am still getting chills recalling this moment. Ashley was so happy that her grandmother was present with her on her wedding day.
Pavilion Wedding Ceremony
Ashley and Josh had a beautiful ceremony at the Pavilion at Waterloo Village. Josh’s sister was the officiant which was so special for their family. She did an incredible job! Ceremony was followed by cocktail hour with the most amazing food and then reception where the newlyweds and all of their guests danced the night away!
And without further ado, some favorites from Ashley and Josh’s wedding day!
Thank you to the amazing team of vendors who made this day possible!
