Nanina’s in the Park Wedding – Nicole and Ryan

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Nicole and Ryan!! After all this time, you are finally Mr. and Mrs. Mendia! Your Nanina’s in the Park wedding was absolutely incredible. We laughed, we cried and we FROZE! But it was an amazing day and we’re so grateful to have been a part of it.

New Jersey Wedding Day

Nicole and Ryan’s wedding day was planned to perfection. They spent the morning getting ready in the bridal and groom suites at Nanina’s in the Park. Nicole was absolutely glowing and smiling from ear to ear by the time we arrived! She got ready for the best day of her life surrounded by her best friends. Nicole’s best friend and Maid of Honor, Tara, got her the most thoughtful gift! While I was photographing Nicole’s details, Tara approached me asking if I’d like to photograph the gift for her bestie. Of course I said yes and she revealed the most beautiful Swarovski pens. She told me that Nicole is obsessed with pens, so she knew they would be the perfect gift. They were even inscribed with Nicole’s new name: Nicole L. Mendia P.A.

Nicole and Ryan decided that they would write letters to each other and exchange them prior to their first look. Nicole read her letter from her soon to be husband out loud and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Korey and I filmed and photographed through tears. We could truly feel the anticipation that had built up until that day!

First Look at Nanina’s in the Park

We actually set up two first looks at the gorgeous Nanina’s in the Park. The first was between Nicole and her father. Ron looked at his daughter in absolute awe. Once again, there wasn’t a dry eye among us.

Then it was finally time for Nicole and Ryan’s first look! Though it was a super cold February day, we were able to set Ryan up outside on the patio at Nanina’s. Ryan had the sweetest reaction as he turned around and his beautiful bride approached him. It was such a special moment between the two.

Saint Lucy’s Church Wedding

Nicole’s father walked her down the aisle during the most emotional processional I’ve ever photographed! You can see for yourself whether the emotions ran high, even after an emotional first look. I absolutely adore this couple and their families – so excited to finally bring these two together in marriage after many years together.

After the ceremony, we snuck outside once again for bridal party and husband and wife portraits. Aside from the typical portraits we take, we were also able to get creative with Nicole’s cathedral length veil. We also photographed the couple with their ride for the day.

Nanina’s in the Park Reception

The Nanina’s in the Park ballroom is the epitome of perfection. The tables were adorned with tall, gorgeous centerpieces, candles and fresh red roses and greenery. The dance floor was at capacity all night long and Nicole and Ryan danced the night away!

Congratulations again to the new Mr. and Mrs. Mendia! Your hearts are so big and we love you so much! Wishing you endless years of love and happiness.
