Being a wedding and engagement photographer in New Jersey is the absolute best! There are so many different locations for shoots. We can be in the mountains, the beach, a garden or pretty architectural areas on any given day! Now that it’s FINALLY summer time in New Jersey, I’ve been able to photograph multiple sessions at the beach and I’m so here for it! When Daysi and Mike decided on Asbury Park photos for their engagement, I was so excited!
The Love Story
Daysi and Mike went to school together at Ramapo College! They actually didn’t start dating until after Mike graduated. Both were involved in Greek Life and one day they both attended a mixer hosted by their sorority and fraternity. After reconnecting, they shared whiskey and exchanged Snapchat usernames!
A San Diego Proposal
They’ve been together for four years and have become inseparable. Mike proposed in San Diego, which is their absolute favorite place to visit. He took Daysi to Coronado Beach where he got down on one knee in front of their friends!
Asbury Park Photos
It was so much fun exploring Asbury Park with Daysi and Mike! It was a bit on the chilly and windy side, but it felt great to get out and get some fresh air with one of our amazing couples! It was amazing to be behind the camera again after months at home. We spent the session laughing and catching up on our lives because Korey and I have so much in common with Daysi and Mike! Both recent home owners and long time dog lovers. Daysi and Mike also love going out to eat and are self proclaimed foodies!
One of my favorite parts of the session was when we were approached by someone with a polaroid camera who offered to take a photo for Daysi and Mike! It was so nice to see that there are kind people out there who are willing to go out of their way to make a couple of strangers smile!
