As a North Jersey wedding photographer and videographer couple, we’ve experienced many milestones for our wonderful couples. Proposals, marriages, pregnancy announcements, gender reveals, lifestyle sessions with new babies and the list goes on! We’re so excited to share that May 2020 brought a couple of amazing milestones for us!
At the beginning of March, we learned that we would have to start to look for a new place to live. It was stressful, especially since that meant we would have to house hunt through the middle of wedding season! A few weeks later, another curveball was thrown our way and it now meant we would have to house hunt in the middle of a pandemic. Luckily we were able to visit homes as long as they were not occupied. We fell in love with just the second house we saw! It checked off all of the boxes, including a large fenced in back yard for Ace and Zoey to run and play freely!
After our offer was accepted, the race was on for our thirty day close! We worked with an amazing mortgage company and realtor to make our dream home become a reality! Little did Diana know, Korey had a special surprise up his sleeve for closing day.
We closed on May 14th and we planned to have photos taken in front of our brand new home. We asked our friend Jen from Jen and Jason Lewin Photography if she could capture this special day for us as first time homeowners! After we finished taking photos in front of our new home, we invited her inside to show her around. We were in the backyard talking about lawn and landscape care when Korey began to me how much he loves me and got down on one knee! It was the absolute sweetest moment and we can’t wait for wedding planning to begin!
