Forest Lodge wedding venue takes up 50 quiet acres of the Warren Watchung Mountains. Founded in 1984, the venue is family-owned and operated. While it can easily provide you with a rustic wedding, it has endless elegant touches that you can dress up and make your own.

Details of the Grounds

At Forest Lodge, The Sherwood Chalet is your go-to space for a garden wedding ceremony. The exterior features a serene area with a paved patio. A gazebo stands at the front, where many couples choose to exchange vows. For climate control, you can move things inside, where you’ll find chandeliers, modern columns, and crown molding. Forest Lodge also features The Maple Grove. This open-air pavilion can be closed in with curtains if needed. If you want to have your ceremony in a more secluded space, you can talk to the venue and find the ideal spot.

The interior of the Sherwood Chalet is the preferred space for an indoor reception. The high ceilings and spacious floor plan will keep your party moving. The Maple Grove works for an outdoor reception, and the pavilion will provide ample lighting for your event.

The Maple Grove provides an outdoor patio and firepit that works flawlessly for your cocktail hour. The Sherwood Chalet has a patio and a deck nestled against the building where you can serve drinks. The building also has an indoor bar separate from the reception area.

The Forest Lodge also has several suites where you can get ready for your wedding. The rooms are thoughtfully placed near the paved paths so you can hide away until your reception begins.

The Sherwood Chalet has space for over 175 guests, while The Maple Grove lets you bring in 250.
