About The Refinery At Perona Farms Wedding Venue

The Refinery At Perona Farms has roots stretching all the way back to 1917. The farm was originally supposed to be a quiet space for Emil Perona to raise dairy cows as a break from his storied life. Before long, however, he realized that he needed some extra funds to keep up with the hearty appetite of his 11 cows. The farm was turned into a hotel where famous boarders such as Jack Renault and Joe DiMaggio would come for a restful day. The farms remain owned by the descendants of Emil, and it remains a beloved spot to celebrate with some fabulous people while sharing a really great meal.

Details of the Grounds

For Ceremonies, The Refinery At Perona Farms offers an open-air atrium with a retractable roof for climate control. The ground is paved with concrete, and bistro lights stretch from one side to the other. The front features a grass wall that you can make your own. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide your guests a view of the forested exterior, creating a feeling of quiet seclusion.

Next stop, your reception. For this, The Refinery has an area adjacent to the atrium where you can host your reception. This space has large arched windows, white walls, and stone accents. The venue will let you host up to 30-300 guests. They will work with you to find the best space for your celebration.

The venue also has several spaces where you can have an elevated cocktail hour. Their Lounge is a large space with several bars, leather couches, and a grass wall for pictures. If you’d prefer, you can take things outside to the Terrace and Loggia, where you can toast beneath the stars.

At The Refinery At Perona Farms, you can get ready in style! There are several private room spaces with lots of windows for pictures. Once you look absolutely stunning, head on over to the speakeasy-inspired Lounge, where you can enjoy some cocktails in a private space.

Throughout the farms, you’ll find greenery creeping up the walls, bringing fresh air to the spaces. Bistro lights sparkle amongst the outdoor spaces while the interiors are lit up by iron chandeliers. The large farm is well-maintained, giving you a picturesque view any way you turn.

The Refinery At Perona Farms wedding venue offers plenty of spaces where you can pose for intimate couple pictures. The spiral staircase is the ideal spot for a first look, while the Archive is perfect for editorial portraits. Outside, there’s a wooden bridge that overlooks a lake, while the expansive grounds are ideal for pictures with your entire party.

Wedding Details

While the grounds can help you find the right caterer for your event, they do offer their own menu with dishes featuring seasonal ingredients. They will provide you with chairs, fine china, glassware, linens, and tables. There is parking on-site, and they have event planners who will make sure your day is everything you want.
