Asbury Park NJ Engagement Session- Kim + Joe

Kim and Joe’s Asbury Park engagement session was gorgeous! We love that they chose Asbury Park NJ for the setting of their engagement shoot since it holds such a huge significance in their love story. Beach portraits are always some of our absolute favorites!

The Love Story

Kim and Joe met on Bumble! On the same day that they matched with each other, they decided to meet at the Brick Wall in Asbury Park. Their real life connection happened just as fast as their online connection! They talked for hours over drinks at the bar on their first date. Neither clearly wanted that first date to end! The two made plans the following few nights in a row together, and their new relationship was beginning! From here on out, the rest is history! We love that they returned to where it all began to take their engagement photos!

Park City Engagement

This engagement story is one that gives me chills! It literally could not be any more of a dream come true! On Kim’s 29th birthday, February 15, 2021, the two were finishing up their vacation in Park City, Utah. It was the final day of their vacation. Joe casually asked a stranger to take a picture of him and Kim. That was when he suddenly got on one knee and proposed! Kim was overwhelmed with joy and graciously said yes to Joe! We still feel bad for that stranger who had no idea what they were getting themselves into!

Asbury Park NJ Engagement Session

We absolutely love a beach engagement session! Kim and Joe’s Asbury Park engagement photos did not disappoint. We took bright and airy photos on the boardwalk and on the beach! We had a blast getting to know this fun-loving couple during their summer engagement session, and we can’t wait to do it all again on your big day at Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury!
