Kaitie and Bryan, alongside their closest family and friends, celebrated their Wedding Day at the gorgeous grounds that are the Cherry Valley Country Club Estate! We had an incredible time photographing them, and we cannot wait to share this sneak peak!
The Love Story
The newlyweds, Kaitie and Bryan, started dating several years ago, when they met at a friend’s BBQ on Labor Day. After bonding over their shared love of the show “How I Met Your Mother,” the two kicked off their now almost decade-long romance! Bryan proposed to Kaitie at her favorite seafood restaurant on Valentine’s Day. On that day in February 2019, Kaitie said “Yes!” when Bryan asked her to be his Valentine that day, next year, and forever!
Bridal Getting Ready at the Princeton Marriott
The Princeton Marriott was perfect for capturing beautiful getting ready shots before Kaitie and Bryan said their vows! The details that they had were delicate and beautiful. The invitations had a watercolor brush stroke in dusty pink to match the color of the bridesmaids’ dresses. Kaitie wore tear drop earrings in the same blush pink shade, and she had a matching velvet ring box to tie everything together. The bride-to-be got ready with her mother, mother-in-law, and closest friends. Her matron of honor and mom helped her into her dress and with her jewelry.
Bryan wore a three-piece suit and bow tie in a classic navy shade. For all of our grooms out there: We LOVE a navy suit! Off colors, meaning any color other than black (think navy, gray, lighter shades etc), edit beautifully with our bright and true to life style! Bryan and his closest friends spent their morning relaxing with some drinks as they got themselves ready for the big day!
First Look at New Jersey Waterfront Estate
Kaitie and Bryan had such a special first look at the Cherry Valley Country Club! We found a pretty, shady spot right behind the venue to capture this intimate moment. With the sun peeking through the trees, Bryan laid his eyes on his bride for the first time and was overcome with joy right away! We highly recommend a first look portrait session to all of our clients. Husband and Wife Portraits at The Cherry Valley Country Club
Kaitie and Bryan’s portrait session was so much fun to capture! We had a blast exploring the grounds of the Cherry Valley Country Club using golf carts to get to different locations. We took sunny, bright portraits near a pond out on the golf course! The pond had a fountain within, and was surrounded by lavender and lots of greenery. We also captured beautiful images in front of the venue, with the aid of the gorgeous light-colored stone walls!
Golf Course Wedding Ceremony in Skillman, NJ
The bride and groom held their beautiful wedding ceremony on the grounds of the Cherry Valley Country Club. Kaitie’s brother officiated the ceremony, reading “How falling in love is like owning a dog” (read it here!) This adorable tribute perfectly encapsulates Kaitie and Bryan’s fun loving relationship, which is made whole by their pup Roland! The guests and couple were all laughing and joyful throughout the ceremony!
After the ceremony, Kaitie’s father provided the cocktail hour background music by playing bagpipes!! This was so special and unique and we loved every second of it!
Wedding Reception at The Cherry Valley Country Club
The reception venue was decorated beautifully, with chandeliers throughout. The windows were big, allowing for plenty of natural light to fill the venue and our photographs! Something that is important for our couples to consider is the lighting of their venue… The more natural light that enters in, the better!
The table runners were designed by Kaitie’s father, who will eventually turn them into a quilt for the couple. The beautiful floral centerpieces on each table were overflowing with lush greenery and florals. Kaitie and Bryan had a fabric guestbook, and their guests signed pieces of fabric with special messages for the couple, intended to be woven in with the quilt her father will create and gift to them!
Kaitie and Bryan, we had an amazing time with you on your Wedding Day, and we are so grateful that we were able to capture these precious moments for you! We wish you all the happiness in the world!
