Shouting CONGRATULATIONS to Stefania and Tim on their marriage and their beautiful New Jersey wedding!
2020 has been a rough year for many reasons. One of those reasons for many 2020 couples was whether or not to cancel or postpone their dream wedding. As the state of New Jersey continues to re-open, another option is now available to couples: get married as planned, if even on a smaller scale.
Stefania and Tim decided they would move forward and get married on their original wedding date and will celebrate their reception at the Sterling Ballroom at a later date! I am so honored to have been able to capture their ceremony and the date they officially became husband and wife!
The Love Story
Stefania and Tim met on a Christian dating app called Crosspaths. Both had set low mileage filters so it was truly fate that they matched! Stefania was babysitting in Pennsylvania which put them within their radius settings. They spent the next month talking and getting to know one another. For their first date, they went to dinner and sat at a lakeside bench in Spring Lake where Tim would eventually propose! The two sat there for hours talking. They ended the night with ice cream (because there is always room for ice cream!).
A Spring Lake Proposal
10 months after their first date, Tim planned a special night for Stefania. They went to dinner at Stay Gold, the same restaurant where they had their first date. Tim then took Stefania to “their bench,” and as she sat down he got down on one knee and asked Stefania to marry him!
Burlington County Wedding
Against all odds, Stefania and Tim were able to get married on their original wedding day! They got ready in their home surrounded by their closest family and friends. They wanted to read letters to each other prior to the ceremony, however they did not want to see each other. Instead of a First Look, we did a First Touch. The soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. held hands around the corner from each other and read the sweetest letters to each other.
Every detail of their ceremony was perfect and created a beautiful and intimate setting. Stefania’s mother did an amazing job planning everything at the last minute. The ceremony arch was adorned with linen and gorgeous florals. The aisle was decorated with words from a passage from the Corinthians. Stefania’s childhood pastor performed the ceremony and it so special to her to be married by him. Stefania and Tim were finally pronounce husband and wife and shared a kiss!
Wedding Photos in a New Jersey Park
After their first dance, we went to a park nearby for husband and wife portraits. We absolutely love portrait time because this is when the couple is truly able to have alone time and just soak in the magic of their wedding day! We were lucky to find a romantic, secluded area near a lake. Stefania and Tim’s love for one another was so apparent and I absolutely loved capturing these moments for them!
