Philadelphia Garden Engagement Session

Alyssa and Anthony’s Philadelphia Garden Engagement Session was something straight out of a fairy-tale! Everywhere I turned was another beautiful back drop and I could have explored for hours! These two are the absolute sweetest couple and I can see why they are the perfect “match!”

The Love Story

Just like many couples nowadays, Alyssa and Anthony met on a phone dating app over four years ago! They swiped right on each other and have been inseparable ever since! For their first date, Alyssa and Anthony went out to a Spanish restaurant. They had good food, good sangria and even better conversation! Shortly after they started dating, they moved in together and the rest has been history! They adopted a sweet Fox Red English Lab named Baker and he is just the cutest! (I had the opportunity to meet him and you may or may not get to see him in this post!). One of Alyssa and Anthony’s favorite things to do is play with their pup and take him for nice long walks hiking or on the beach. Other weekend activities include local garden picnics and lazy Sundays with their fur-baby.

The Proposal

Anthony spent a long time planning the perfect proposal! The couple went on a ski trip to Colorado to visit friends and family. Anthony told me that Alyssa will only go skiing to make him happy because she would much rather travel to warmer destinations. What Alyssa didn’t know, was that this trip would be immediately followed by a surprise trip to Miami where he would pop the question after 3 years!

Anthony put together an Instagram post containing photos which chronicled their relationship together and the last photo was the ring! While the two were walking the beach, Anthony posted to Instagram and tagged Alyssa so that when she took out her phone, she would see the post. As she swiped to see all of the photos, Anthony dropped to one knee and asked her to spend the rest of their lives together!

Alyssa and Anthony will be tying the knot on August 17th at Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Below you can see some of our favorites from their Philadelphia Garden Engagement Session!
