Lauren + Andrew’s Island Heights engagement session was magical! We captured a perfect golden hour glow on the dock at Island Heights.
The Love Story
Lauren + Andrew met when they were teenagers. They were both volunteers on a local first aid squad when they began their years-long friendship! After graduating from college, Lauren invited Andrew out with some of her friends. They met at Bamboo in Seaside Heights, and began talking every single day and night thereafter! They started to grow closer and closer, and seven months later, Andrew asked Lauren out! It’s now been eight years of togetherness for this sweet couple, and we are so honored to be a part of this next chapter of marriage!
Beach Proposal at Barnegat Lighthouse
Lauren’s happy place is Long Beach Island. With this in mind, Andrew crafted the perfect surprise for his soon to be fiancé with the help of some friends! On December 12, 2020, Lauren + Andrew were on their way to the Ship Bottom Brewery with their friends Kevin and Caitie. On their way, Caitie asked if they could stop at the Barnegat Lighthouse to “catch a rare pokemon,” and it was a beautiful day so Lauren was on board! At the lighthouse, Lauren + Andrew took a walk by themselves down by the beach. That is where Andrew got down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life! Caitie, Kevin and Andrew’s best friend Rob were all watching and capturing the moment for them from afar. They all went to the brewery afterwards to celebrate their engagement!
Island Heights Engagement Session
Lauren + Andrew chose Island Heights for their engagement photos! The soon to be husband and wife posed for their engagement photos in the beautiful glowy golden hour light! We had a great time capturing these pictures for you both, Lauren + Andrew! We cannot wait until the big day!
