The Love Story
Danica + Ryan worked in the same small town together, which is how they met! After working up the courage to talk to one another, they set up their first date at Top Golf. Danica surprised herself and Ryan with her swing, and the adventures have not stopped since! Now, three years and countless country concerts later, the two are set to be married!
Surprise Proposal in the Pocono Mountains
Ryan pulled off an incredible surprise proposal during Danica’s 30th birthday weekend! Danica + Ryan were planning to spend her birthday weekend in the Poconos with her best friend Kim and husband Joe. In the morning on Saturday, January 9th 2021, Danica + Ryan went tubing on the mountain. While they were having a blast on the slopes, their family members were at the house, secretly setting up for a birthday surprise! Danica was delighted when she got back to the house and saw all of her closest family members, including her baby goddaughter.
Ryan and Joe built a bonfire in the backyard, right in front of the lake so that they could take family pictures. In the middle of the family portrait session, Ryan turned to Danica and said “This isn’t the only reason I brought you here this weekend,” got down on one knee, and proposed! It was the most incredible and shocking proposal. He knocked it out of the park!
Waterloo Village Stanhope Engagement Photos
Historic Waterloo Village in Stanhope was the perfect setting for this small town couple’s engagement photos! We are so happy for for Danica + Ryan, and we had so much fun exploring the village with them to find all the right angles for their engagement photos! We took sunny portraits outside at this rustic estate, making the most of golden hour. Check out our post about why we love golden hour here! Ryan was looking handsome and classy in his police officer uniform, and Danica showed off her country fandom with her cowboy boots!
