Jess and Rob hosted their October ceremony and reception at a beautiful private estate in Pennsylvania. We had a gorgeous, sunny fall day, and we had so much fun capturing this dog-loving couple’s wedding day!
The Love Story
Jess and Rob were acquaintances in high school, but fate brought them together again later in life! After running into each other at Jess’s surprise 30th birthday party, they planned their first date. They went to a Phillies game with friends, and after that, the rest is history! Rob proposed to Jess by planning a special birthday firetruck parade. As they stood in the front yard, Rob got down on one knee asking Jess to marry him, their friends and family drove by to help celebrate the moment!
Getting Ready at Private Pennsylvania Estate
Jess came prepared with all the pretty details for getting ready portraits! She had a gorgeous, watercolor floral invitation suite, complete with custom wax seal and stamp with their initials. Her Badgley Mischka shoes, greenery and loose stems from the florist, and custom ring box matched perfectly. The getting ready space that we were in had plenty of room, with nice natural light for us to capture the moment! The bride gifted each of her bridesmaids a custom denim jacket, painted with their pet portraits! The jackets were beautiful and the girls all wept when they were revealed! Rob and his groomsmen rode to the venue in style, on a firetruck. Rob gave his best man a unique gift, too: an Eagles helmet!
First Look at Private Residence
You may have noticed a firetruck theme. That’s because the bride’s dad is a fire chief, so it runs in the family! Jess did a first look with both her soon to be husband, and her father. The magic moment when they first saw her was perfect! We had a sunny glow on the property of the private estate, and we took some amazing, emotional husband and wife first look portraits at the private residence in Pennsylvania. Fall Wedding Ceremony at Private Estate
Jess and Rob’s fall wedding ceremony was emotional and beautiful! The couple wrote their own, private vows. Jess went first because Rob’s eyes swelled up with tears and he couldn’t get the words out! Both Jess and Rob made beautiful promises to each other, including raising all of their fur babies and future fur babies together!
Bride + Groom Portraits at Private Residence
As natural light photographers, we couldn’t have asked for a better bride + groom portrait session on Jess + Rob’s wedding day! We took sunny portraits at the private residence in Pennsylvania, making sure to capture the sunset! As we walked around the estate, we took all of our wedding party portraits prior to the ceremony! We love that Jess and Rob had their ceremony and reception at the same location; it made it possible for us to make the most out of their wedding day!
Tented Outdoor Pennsylvania Wedding Reception
Rob and Jess’s tented outdoor Pennsylvania wedding reception had no shortage of cute details. The seating chart displayed portraits of the pets of the wedding party! The custom cake topper included all of Jess and Rob’s pets, so everybody’s fur babies were there in spirit! The tent was draped in string lights, and floral centerpieces decorated the tables. The bride’s dad, MOH, and best man all gave touching toasts to the newlyweds!
