Becky and Will are the sweetest couple! They are funny, goofy, kind and genuine people. We had a blast during their Monmouth County Park Engagement Session at Thompson Park – they even brought their pup, Guinness along for a few photos!
The Love Story
Becky and Will’s love story began on eHarmony. They spent their first conversation bonding over their love for dogs. Both of their profiles listed a dog-free life as a no-go, so they hit it off immediately! Will took Becky to The Cheesecake Factory on their first date. Becky told Will she was extremely nervous so when they first met face to face, he gave her a big hug! Becky said this broke the ice and immediately made her feel more comfortable. They were the only ones in the restaurant and spent hours talking and getting to know each other in the booth.
The couple spends their time taking Guinness for long walks and to the dog park, hanging out by the pool at Will’s parents’ house. They live for Taco Tuesdays and 90 Day Fiance (although Will may disagree with the latter).
Thompson Park Proposal
Will planned the perfect proposal at Monmouth County Park, Thompson Park. He took Becky and Guinness to one of his favorite spots in the park overlooking the water. Will kneeled down to pretend to fix Guinness’s collar. He called Becky over to help him out and that is when he revealed the ring to her! Becky said she cried for a minute straight before she could even manage to say yes!
Monmouth County Park Engagement
Becky and Will’s engagement session was absolutely incredible! Even though the spot where Will proposed is now private property, we were able to capture some magical photos during this special time! Thompson Park had so many amazing locations to choose from. There were open fields, fields with tall grass, a gazebo, a white house, a white barn and a huge mansion/visitor center. It was definitely a photographer’s playground and it was so beautiful! Our favorite part of the session was joking around with Becky and Will. They are so funny and have such easy-going personalities! We also LOVED meeting Guinness!
