New Jersey has many flashy and opulent venues designed to impress and entertain. Still, sometimes, the most impressive venues are those with a little extra charm, history, and rustic elegance. One of our favorite venues is The Farmhouse. This 330-year-old estate has been reimagined as an elegant event space ideal for hosting weddings as elegant as they are cozy and romantic. If you’re looking for a unique space for your one-of-a-kind wedding, you must keep reading to learn more about The Farmhouse NJ wedding venue!

About The Farmhouse NJ Wedding Venue

The Farmhouse is a beautiful contemporary wedding venue in Hampton, New Jersey, and also the oldest known building in the town. Originally founded and built in 1685, the home boasts plenty of features original to the estate, like the stonework in every fireplace and some of the centuries-old wooden beams that line the ceilings.

In 2018, Landmark Hospitality purchased the Farmhouse. They lovingly enhanced the Grand Ballroom while working hard to maintain its original charm and beauty.

Details of the Grounds

Begin your wedding day by getting ready in the elegant Bridal Suite, a bright, open space with comfortable seating, a private bathroom, and salon-quality furniture. Plenty of natural light also makes it a great space for getting ready pictures or first looks with parents and other family members.

You can exchange vows in the spectacular gardens, saying “I do” in front of a quaint white gazebo surrounded by lush greenery. It’s a charming, romantic space for a lovely wedding, particularly in the spring when everything is in bloom or in fall as the leaves are beginning to change color. The grounds are also perfect for an outdoor cocktail hour or for giving your guests a place to socialize and get a little fresh air as your celebration winds on throughout the evening.

Your celebration in the Grand Ballroom will be elegant and beautiful. The space balances the venue’s historic features like rustic stonework and reclaimed barn wood with modern chandeliers, a grand inlaid ceiling, and lovely wooden floors. It’s a cozy and sophisticated canvas for the wedding of your dreams, however you envision it to look! The Farmhouse can accommodate up to 265 guests for a truly unforgettable celebration.

Photography Opportunities

The Farmhouse’s 10 acres of gorgeous gardens and towering trees are beautiful for taking photos with friends and family and, of course, timeless portraits of you and your new spouse. The venue is also home to features like the property’s original stone Schoolhouse and the iconic Kissing Tree, which are perfect for fun pictures representing the place where you promised each other forever. Indoors, historic fireplaces and other cozy features are ideal for beautiful pictures that will round out a magnificent album commemorating your wedding day.
