About The Somerset Park Wedding Venue

The Palace is an incredible 80,000-square-foot Palladian-style mansion. It was established in 2005 to host some of the area’s most abundant events, conferences, and gatherings. Inspired by the Newport homes of the Vanderbilts and Astors, this extraordinary venue looks like it was built centuries ago. However, when you step inside, you’ll see that it still looks modern and relevant. The Palace has been featured on various wedding shows since opening. It has earned the Best of the Knot award for over six years in a row!

Details of the Grounds

Begin your wedding day in one of The Palace’s extraordinary, spacious suites. Designed specifically for large wedding parties, these 1,000 sq ft rooms include all the must-haves. They house floor-length mirrors, multiple restrooms, salon chairs, lounge furniture, and more for a relaxing start to your wedding day.

The enormous venue is divided into two main venues: The East House and the West House. The East House features floors of gray St. Germain and Creme, a Marfil marble, and an antique Tuscan Fountain in the foyer to greet your guests. This venue space reflects the opulence of a 17th-century ballroom. It features a 24-foot ceiling and a romantic Juliette balcony overlooking the space. A private terrace with four pits and views of The Palace grounds connects through French doors.

The West House features soft, cognac-colored couture fabrics, mahogany-toned paneling, and a gorgeous hand-carved antique French fireplace as an elegant focal point. Inspired by 17th-century Venetian palazzos, this venue part features three French doors leading to the West Terrace.

You can also combine the East and West House for one incredible venue. This will give you plenty of space for every moment of your celebration.
