Congratulations to Eman and Karim on their wedding day and marriage! Eman and Karim had the perfect wedding at The Grand in Totowa, NJ. From beginning to end, it was so beautiful and I’m so honored to have been a part of it!
NJIT Love Story
Eman and Karim’s anniversary is 10/10/10 so they have just celebrated 10 years together! They first met at NJIT when Eman was walking on campus and stopped to say hi to a friend. Karim was sitting there and grabbed Eman’s sketchbook right from her hands! She thought it was rude and didn’t see him again for another month or two. They met again through mutual friends and their love story began there. Karim took Eman to Cold Stone for their first date once they were done with classes for the day.
New Jersey Proposal
Karim had made multiple game plans to propose to Eman however she was on to him each time. Finally, he was able to surprise her and popped the question before her niece’s birthday party. She was so shocked and didn’t know what happened because she didn’t even hear the proposal! After realizing what happened, she was excited to say ‘yes!’ to forever!
Bride and Groom First Look at The Grand
Eman and Karim wanted to take advantage of the sunlight before their ceremony so they decided on having a first look in the courtyard at The Grand. They were able to share a special moment, just the two of them before their ceremony.
Wedding Ceremony and Reception at The Grand
The wedding ceremony took play in the beautiful courtyard at The Grand. They had a traditional islamic ceremony surrounded by their family and friends. Eman and Karim’s reception was decorated so beautifully with neutral colors – flowers, white pumpkins and greenery. Everything went perfectly with the sage color scheme!
