Congratulations to Heather and James on their wedding day and marriage! Heather and James had the perfect backyard wedding in Haskell, New Jersey. From beginning to end, it was so beautiful and I’m so honored to have been a part of it!
The Love Story
Heather and James met through a mutual friend (James’s best man!). They were both at his house at met in the driveway. They were friends for about a year before they started dating. Their first official date was for Heather’s birthday. James took Heather to a cafe by the river in Warwick, NY. They even had the entire outdoor area to themselves!
A New Jersey Proposal
James and Heather met in Pete’s (James’s Best Man) driveway. Fast forward to Pete’s wedding day in August 2019 where James was the best man. James planned the unimaginable to propose to Heather at Pete’s wedding! Pete was 100% in on the plan, of course! They were brought together by Pete and it was only fitting to get engaged on the same day Pete was getting married.
First Look and Bride and Groom Portraits at Ringwood Manor
I was so excited when Heather and James decided they wanted to do a First Look! First Looks are wonderful intimate moments for just the couple. Wedding days can be VERY busy.. so a First Look is an amazing time to get out the nerves and spend some one on one time with your future husband/wife! Heather wanted to do these portraits at Ringwood Manor so that we could have some pretty fall backdrops for their portraits! The park was so pretty in early fall.
Haskell, New Jersey Wedding
Heather and James planned a beautiful backyard wedding in Haskell, New Jersey. They had a huge white tent set up with twinkle lights, white linens and the prettiest centerpieces created by Karen’s Kreations. All of the flowers were neutrals with whites, light pinks and light yellows – they were so pretty! I am so excited to share some favorites from their beautiful wedding day!
