Amanda + Dan’s Olde Mill Inn Basking Ridge Wedding was beautiful! Every last detail was perfect, from the sage invitation suite to the matching desert rose color scheme! Despite threats of rain in the forecast, Amanda + Dan posed for bright and airy portraits in the sun, and then danced the night away with their closest family and friends!
Bride + Groom Preparations at the Olde Mill Inn Basking Ridge
Amanda + Dan got ready on site at The Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. Amanda had matching robes for her and her girls as they were getting pampered and sipping on mimosas! In the bridal suite, Amanda wore Betsy Johnson strappy rhinestone studded sandals. She wore a gorgeous cathedral length veil, with diamond necklace and earrings. One last thoughtful detail Amanda and Dan included in their day were three photo pins of their late grandfathers. Amanda carried the first of her grandfather on her bouquet, the second was worn by her grandmother, and the last was a photo of Dan’s grandfather worn by his grandmother. We love taking these detail shots for our couples! We arranged all of the beautiful details and loose florals from their florist to capture the beauty of this stunning wedding decor!
Meanwhile in the groom suite, Dan was getting dressed in his classic black tuxedo with a white bow tie. He wore an Armani Exchange watch to pull the look together! Since both bride + groom prepared on site, we were able to make the most out of our portraits session and coverage time for this Olde Mill Inn Basking Ridge Wedding!

Husband + Wife Portraits at Classic Estate
Amanda + Dan looked beautiful as we took their portraits in the sun! The courtyard had light grey stone, and was covered with lush greenery. The twinkle lights added the perfect ambiance for our bright and sunny husband + wife portraits!
Outdoor Ceremony at Basking Ridge Estate
The Courtyard at the Olde Mill Inn Basking Ridge was the perfect setting for Amanda + Dan to say their vows! The outdoor ceremony let us capture the bright and airy images that we love to deliver to our couples! Outdoor ceremonies in New Jersey are some of our favorites to capture. And like we mentioned before, having everything at 1-2 locations makes the most of coverage time! We don’t spend any of your coverage time driving from 1 location to the next!
Amanda and Dan’s Olde Mill Inn wedding was super emotional. Both the bride and groom cried while Amanda walked down the aisle. I could hear Amanda’s bridesmaids chattering behind me as the excitedly awaited the arrival of their best friend. They were in awe of Dan’s reaction as his soon-to-be wife approached him!
After being pronounced husband and wife, everyone cheered and the two walked back down the aisle, this time together! And finally a married couple! Dan kissed his wife at the end of the aisle while the sun glistened behind them.
Wedding Reception at the Olde Mill Inn
After the ceremony, it was celebration time! At the reception, the bride and her MOH, younger sister Lexi, became emotional. During her toast, she told Amanda how happy she was for her older sister, reminiscing about all the memories they have together, and about the first time she met Dan- he was a part of the family and a gentleman from the start! They all knew Dan would fit right in since Amanda’s father is named Dan, Lexi’s boyfriend is Dan, and now Amanda’s Dan!
Dan’s younger brother and best man Matt talked about the stages of life they have tackled together so far, and his accomplishments. He finished with a beautiful word of advice for the newlyweds: In hard times, to ask themselves “What are my blessings?” and to think of the love they have for one another, and the love and support that they have from their friends and family.
We couldn’t be happier than to have spent this beautiful wedding day with such an amazing couple. We are so happy for you two, Amanda and Dan! Congratulations and we wish you so much love and happiness <3
