Daysi and Mike’s wedding day at Unionville Vineyards was whimsical, to say the least! There was truly magic in the air on this loving couple’s wedding day. This emotional wedding day showcased both Mike and Daysi for the hearts of gold that they have!
The Love Story
Daysi and Mike both attended Ramapo College, and both were active in Greek life. Although they did not know each-other well while at the same school, they connected at a mixer after graduation. Realizing they had more in common than they thought, Daysi and Mike’s relationship was starting to bloom! As the night went on, they exchanged information. Four and a half years later, here we are with them celebrating their wedding day!
Getting Ready at Unionville Vineyards
Mike and Daysi both got ready for their wedding day at Unionville Vineyards with their closest friends and family. The quaint 1858 farmhouse where they got ready was on-site and had a vintage feel. There was no shortage of wonderful details on display! Daysi wore a white dress, covered in lace, with off the shoulder sleeves. She wore gold earrings with a rose gold bracelet and donned a fingertip length veil to bring the whole look together. Daysi even had a flower in her hair, pinning back her soft curls! Last but not least, she also wore a gold bracelet that belonged to Mike as a child.
First Look at Vintage Farmhouse in New Jersey
Daysi and Mike took their first look photos at the Unionville Vineyards, in front of the 1858 farmhouse where they got ready. On the porch, Daysi tapped Mike on the shoulder. As soon as Mike saw Daysi, tears started to run down both their faces! A sign of true love, they wiped each others’ tears, and the emotion flowed right into the camera. The rain stopped just in time for us to capture this sweet and heartfelt first look!
Husband + Wife Portraits at Unionville Vineyards
Daysi and Mike we such naturals in from of the camera, so their portraits came out amazing! Lucky for us, the rain came and went, leaving us with fresh, bright light. Daysi’s bouquet was full of color, including all different types of daisies and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were elegant with white daisies. The bridesmaids’ dresses were warm and varied, with a unique fit and color tailored to everyone. Mike and his groomsmen had superhero socks and cufflinks! Mike wore a navy suit with a coral boutonniere.
Unplugged Wedding Ceremony in Ringoes, NJ
Mike and Daysi’s ceremony transported us back in time to an enchanted garden! The romantic ceremony was unplugged and serene. Daysi and Mike both read their own vows, and it did not take long before they had the whole room in tears. Daysi, with excitement, shouted “I’M MARRIED, I’M MARRIED!” As they walked back down the aisle, this time hand in hand for the first time as husband and wife, guests showered them with confetti hearts and cheers!
Beautiful Wedding Reception at Unionville Vineyards
Daysi and Mike held their reception under a cathedral white tent. The tables were beautifully decorated, with vases of colorful daisies all over. The heartfelt toasts from the maid of honor and best man praised this couple for the selfless people that they are. Known as those who would drop everything for their friends and family, Mike’s sister Francesca, Daysi’s sister Karen, and Mike’s little Ryan celebrated Mike and Daysi’s love and their huge hearts!
Daysi and Mike, thank you for letting us be a part of your special day! One last thought comes to mind as I finish writing this: “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.” Thank you for demonstrating that this could not be truer. We wish you all the love and happiness in the world!
